3 Ways To Wear Bermuda Shorts Before Summer Ends

OUTFIT #1

As I look back over my summer blog posts, I regret not having talked about the Bermuda shorts trend! So before the season ends I want to share a few fun ways to style what many people consider to be “ugly” shorts.

I have two denim Bermuda shorts in my arsenal; one white with a frayed hem which is styled in outfits #1-2 and one blue with distressed detailing which is styled in outfit #3. The white ones are from GAP and while I could not find the exact same product, I’m linking up similar ones here and at the end of the blog post. My blue denim shorts are called the Caroline Cut-Off by Free People, and I was able to find them online here. When styling the three outfits, I did my best to pair the shorts with a myriad of different tops, shoes, and accessories to show just how versatile Bermuda shorts can be.

OUTFIT #2

In outfit #1, I went for a runway-inspired look by pairing the shorts with the popular puff-sleeve top which shares the same bright hue. To break up the monochromatic ensemble, I used a color-pop heel, and fun straw hat. In outfit #2, I stayed on the casual side of the spectrum, using an oversized linen shirt and flat snake print sandals to dress down the white shorts. Lastly, for outfit #3 I dressed up the casual distressed Caroline shorts with a luminous red blouse and some cute woven slip-on sandals.

Because it’s the end of the season there are plenty of these shorts on sale! I’m linking up a bunch of styles at the end of this blog post so that you can easily shop this trend. Also I want to give a huge shout out to my good friend Giovanni Saldutti for helping me style and photograph these outfits while we were vacationing in Puerto Rico!
