Worn Three Ways - Swing Shorts - Part 2

Happy Friday Everyone!! In yesterday's post I was excited to announce the start of a new Best Trends For Life blog series called "Worn Three Ways." The idea came to me while styling these Elora Swing Shorts, by Tobi, which paired well with just about every top I tried it on with. Because I could not decide which top to go with, I'll be featuring these shorts in three very different looks - sporty, sweet, and sexy! In yesterday's post, the shorts were paired with a sweatshirt and sneakers giving way to the "sporty" look. Today, I'm showing off the "sweet" look which I've created by pairing the shorts with this adorable Lace Up Ruffle Top, by Romwe, and these flattering mules (which are sold out but here's a link to identical ones). By simply changing the sweatshirt to a ruffled beauty and the sneakers to a heeled sandal, the whole look has changed from sporty to sweet!

And as promised, I'll be talking more about what makes these shorts so comfortable. To start, the waist band does not have a zipper or a button, it's simply has an elastic band (but only in the back to preserve the aesthetics of the front). I prefer an elastic waist when purchasing pants online because it provides wiggle room when it comes to deciding on a size. (BTW, I went with a size S and it's a perfect fit). Another feature that makes them so comfy is the wide leg, or "swing" design. Not only is the flare trendy, it also lets your legs breath, and come the hot summer months, that is a huge benefit in my opinion! Seriously, you cannot go wrong with these bad boys. Not convinced yet? Stay tuned for tomorrow's post where I'll be featuring the third and last look!
