Glomance Skincare Review
I’m in my late 20’s and I still get pimples and blemishes! I seriously thought after those hormone-filled teenage years were over that my skin was going to magically take care of itself. Obviously I was wrong. Keeping my skin looking healthy is a life -long challenge, but one made easier with the right product. Lucky, Glomance reached out to me for a sponsored collaboration and I’ve had the opportunity to try out their Overnight Star resurfacing night treatment. This adorable pink bottle is packed with some lovely key ingredients; Lactic Acid, Lemongrass Oil, Licorice, Prickly Pear Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, and Aloe. Together these ingredients work to remove dark spots, eliminate wrinkles, plump up and exfoliate skin! The recommended way to use the product is to apply it right before bed and leave it on overnight. However, if you have sensitive skin the recommendation is to apply and wash it away after 15 minutes, using it more as a mask. The first time I used it overnight, I noticed a huge improvement in my blemishes and reduction in pimple size. I also noticed that it irritated the rosacea on my cheeks, which is the most sensitive part of my face. But I loved how the treatment worked on the rest of my face, so I decided moving forward that I would continue to apply it as an overnight treatment while avoiding the rosacea. After I apply it, I always add a layer of moisturizer on top and then off to bed it is! I find that this routine used 3x week is working wonders for my skin. As I didn’t really have any wrinkles to start with, I cannot speak to the Overnight Star’s ability to reduce wrinkles. But I can speak to the fact that whenever I have a pimple starting to pop up, if I use this overnight treatment, the pimple is nearly gone by the morning! I’ve also noticed that the pores on my nose appear smaller. I also appreciate that Overnight Star does not have a strong scent; it’s mild citrus aroma is pleasing but not overwhelming. It’s funny, I actually have a better time determining if a products scent is pleasant by wearing it around Bill; one kiss later and he’ll let me know if the smell is too potent. With Glomance, we’re golden! Packaging is another small thing that’s important to me. This may sound silly, but I think the fact that it’s in a cute little pink bottle with a minimalist label makes me even more excited to use it.
