Cargo Pants Styled Two Ways - Featuring Qupid Shoes

The cargo/utility style hit the fashion industry like a ton of bricks this season. When I first noticed how popular the cargo pant was becoming (again), I became nostalgic for those middle school days when I shopped at Limited Too and Aeropostale. Wanting to style this pant in a more elevated way than a middle school me would, I partnered with Qupid Shoes so I could show you just how trendy the cargo pant can be.

In the first outfit above, it’s clear that I’m going for a more polished look which is easy to accomplish by wearing the pants with some elegant accessories, starting with the shoes! I’ve styled the pants with the Kaylee Black Strappy Heel by Qupid. These minimalist heels could elevate any look as there’s nothing they wouldn’t match with. The best part is that they’re quite comfortable/easy to walk in! Running true to size and selling for under $35, they’re a bargain. Now all that’s left is finishing off the outfit with a sophisticated coat and purse. You’ll notice that I’m wearing the Gavi Mini handbag by Angela Valentine, with both outfits actually. This bag is my go-to for adding a touch of poise and grace to an ensemble.

In the second outfit below, I’m wearing more of a biker-chic/military-inspired look. That’s mainly due to the awesome Raffi Back Lace Up Boot by Qupid that I’m sporting. Just like the cargo pant, the combat boot is another hot trend this season. These boots don’t only look the part, they’re also functional! I wore them out one snowy night and I was safe from moisture and slipping the whole time. The traction on these beauties made walking through the slippery slush-coated side walks of Philadelphia easier than you can image. Back to styling the cargo pants though. Add a Moto leather jacket to the mix and you’re ready to hit the streets in a kick-ass get up.
