4 Workwear Essentials That Will Endure Everyday Use

If you’re a tough cookie then shouldn’t your wardrobe be too? After experiencing products that deteriorate after one wear or one wash, I’ve come to appreciate quality pieces that I know will last me for years. While it’s fun to purchase inexpensive trendy pieces to wear a handful of times, it’s also important to invest in wardrobe staples for everyday use, especially in the workplace. Today, I’m reviewing 4 durable products that were made for strong professional women such as yourself!

  1. The Pantyhose

First let’s talk about the one thing in a women’s wardrobe that typically only lasts one wear, pantyhose! In the past, my tights would pull just from me touching them with frayed cuticles. Thanks to Sheertex, pantyhose don’t have to be disposable anymore! The ones I’ve styled in today’s post are their Classic Sheers. Made with the same material that bulletproof vests are made of, these pantyhose are nearly indestructible. Tug and scratch all you want. They’ll pull through with no damage! I’ve uploaded a video to Instagram Stories to prove it. The average pantyhose costs about $6, so the $59 price tag on these might seem high at first. But the investment is worth it because you’ll get much more use out of them than you would with any other pair. As for size, according to their size chart I was between the small and the medium. I decided to go with the medium and was very happy with that decision. My advice would be to size up if you’re at all unsure. I promise you won’t be disappointed with this purchase. Oh and make sure to use code BESTTRENDSFORLIFE10 for 10% off your order!

2. The Boots

Every woman needs a good pair of boots to wear to work. The Lolita Knee High Boot by Vionic Shoes, is my go to for two reasons. First, these boots are classic. The genuine leather, knee-high cut, and thick heel make them a work-appropriate shoe that will be in style for decades. Second, these boots make walking in heels a piece of cake! Vionic specializes in footwear with advanced comfort by using features such as deep heel cups and enhanced contours. With their shoes you can strut through the streets and the office with pure confidence and comfort. As luck would have it, these boots are on sale for $100 off the original price!

3. The Blazer

A black blazer is a must-have! Above, I’m wearing the Black Boyfriend Blazer, from Poize Workwear in a size 6. While I’m typically a size 6, I prefer for my blazers to be oversized. Whether you work in an office or not, having a black blazers can elevate any outfit. I styled this blazer with professional attire in today’s post, but I also wore this blazer with a casual outfit to go out for my friends birthday this weekend. I think my favorite part about this piece is the fact that while it’s structured, it’s also extremely light-weight. This makes it easier to wear both above and below other layers. It also means I can use it well into the spring season. With such a minimalist and classic design this piece will stick around in your wardrobe for a long long time. Make sure to follow Poize Workwear’s Instagram account as they’ll continue to share exciting updates about their new collection!

4. The Tote

One of the most obvious workwear staples is the tote. Large enough to fit all you need and full of pockets to keep you organized, the Signature Tote by Dagne Dover is top of the line. My Signature Tote is the “onyx” color and the “classic” size. As you’re probably catching on, whenever picking out wardrobe staples I typically stick with black or neutral colors. These colors tend to pair well with nearly everything. Anyhow, I’ve had this bag for 4 years. It’s gotten me through many interviews, trips, and meetings. I’m confident that this bag will keep you feeling organized and ready to take on the world!
