Dippin' Daisy's Swimwear Review

If you haven’t heard of Dippin’ Daisy’s Swimwear, then you’re missing out. Two months ago, Dippin’ Daisy’s gifted me two bikinis and ever since then, they’re the only swimsuits I’ve been using. Featured above is the Festival Top and the Ultra Bottoms in the color “Sage”. This sporty-chic set is right on trend with its high waistline and clean lines. One of the best parts about the Festival Top is that it can double as a cropped top with a pair of high-waisted shorts! Featured below is the Carnival Top and Nocturnal Bottoms in the color “Hawaiian Sun”. This set is definitely more of a classic bikini design especially if you’re looking to get a good tan. While both of these swimsuits are on-trend and insanely flattering, the reason I love them so much is the material! They’re both made with a silky-soft/stretchy material which is is both comfortable and luxurious looking. Their products are double-lined so you don’t have to worry about any show-through. Another great thing about Dippin’ Daisy’s suits is that they’re high quality without an insane mark up. Each piece is under $40!

Regarding size, I ordered a size small in the tops and size medium in the bottoms. In my opinion, I would order true-to-size for the tops but size-up for the bottoms. According to the measurements on their size chart, I should be a size small in both tops and bottoms. But being that I always order size medium for bikini bottoms, out of habit I went with the mediums and I’m glad I did! Another great thing about Dippin’ Daisy’s is that they promote body positivity by offering a wide range of sizes and models to feature them.

As a part of my initiative to hold brands accountable, I asked Dippin’ Daisy’s what steps they were taking to support the BLM movement. Here’s what I learned by speaking with them! 1) They’ve donated to the George Floyd Memorial Fund and to the Black Girls Code Charity. 2) They are actively reaching out and working with more women of color. 3) They are working to diversify all aspects of the brand, website, team, and social platforms. 4) They have an IG highlight dedicated to BLM which is full of great resources/ways people can help.

I hope this review has been helpful! If you have any questions, please drop them below.
