For those of you who don’t know, Bill and I are recently engaged as of last December! So just prepare yourself for a slew of wedding-related collaborations and blog posts to follow these next few months. We spent the month of January booking all of the most important vendors (venue, caterer, DJ, photographer). And now we are ready for all of our guests to SAVE THE DATE! That brings us to the topic of today’s blog post which is in collaboration with the save the date website, Basic Invite. I’m all about keeping it simple. Even my dress and venue décor ideas are pretty minimalistic. So naturally, Basic Invite was a perfect fit for me. The offer so many great save the date cards with photo options that are both classic and simple. I decided to go with Daisy Festival template, changing only the one font to a different script. My favorite thing about this website compared to similar websites is that Basic Invite makes it really easy to edit the designs. I was effortlessly able to swap back and forth between a few photos of Bill and I that I was deciding between. They also allow you to order a sample before committing to a huge order so that you can be comfortable with the content and quality.

Between the numerous templates, foil options, and custom colors to choose from, it was super simple to make a save the date that worked perfectly for us. And last but not least, Basic Invite offers free address collection services, which is a convenient way to ask for your guests addresses and have them printed on the envelopes.  Here I was thinking that I’d have to gather all the addresses and manually enter them in! Seriously, it’s such a relief knowing there’s one less thing that I have to worry about doing myself. What’s more is that Basic Invite is offering 15% off everything this month which means I can order 75 save the dates for just under $100! I can’t wait to take a look at the 900+ wedding invitation sets that they offer when it comes time for us to send the official invites. Be sure to check out Basic Invite on Instagram and stay tuned via my Insta account for more wedding-inspired collaborations to follow!

with love,

Priscilla
